Paul Wilkins: Love, Joy and Delight

Headway UK has featured Paul Wilkins in their Creative Expression feature. Creative expression | Headway

Paul struggled with epilepsy all through school. In 1983 he had an operation to control it, which was successful with regular medication assistance, but left him with cognitive disability for more than 15 years. He then went through what he describes as a ‘brain reactivation’, where he found a new ability to undertake self-rehabilitation and, with the support of organisations such as Headway Central Lancashire, began to see a big improvement in his condition. Over the years he’s become an all round creative writer.

Paul began writing poetry and thoughts in order to motivate others, and you can read his work on his website, Poetry Emotion.
